Transportation & Maps

No matter how visitors choose to get to the world-class resort of Whistler, it will be an enjoyable trip.

Over land (by car, train or bus), the gateway to Whistler is Highway 99 and the scenic Sea-to-Sky corridor. For those short on time, flying between Vancouver and Whistler is also an option.

Getting Around

Whistler is a world-class resort municipality with well-developed and well-maintained public infrastructure. Whistler Village, where the vast majority of shops and services are concentrated, is pedestrian-only.

The Valley Trail is a paved, multi-use path popular with cyclists and pedestrians, and provides access to outlying neighbourhoods, lakes and parks.

Public transit buses run through every Whistler neighbourhood. There are also several seasonal free shuttles, and taxi service is available 24/7.
