Skiing BC's Powder Highway

The Powder Highway, in British Columbia’s Kootenay Rockies region, links eight full-service mountain resorts that take skiers and boarders deep into the 12 to 18 metres (40 to 60 feet) of fresh powder that falls every year. And it’s not all about downhill: off-piste options, from cat-skiing, heli-skiing and backcountry skiing to cross-country and snowshoeing, abound here too.
